Physics

The Department of Physics at Gangasheel Mahavidyalaya has been actively running since 2015. Currently, we offer a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree at the undergraduate level. The Department of Physics is a center of learning that helps students understand basic to advanced concepts of physics, from macroscopic to microscopic scales. We are equipped with two experimental laboratories where students can practically verify theoretical concepts of elasticity, acceleration due to gravity, mass of a body, electricity, magnetism, optics, etc.

Vission
  • Research Focus: Inspiring undergraduate students and faculty members todiscover new things that benefit society.
  • Teaching Focus: Encouraging faculty to understand the latest advancements and research, delivering that information to students instead of relying only on traditional teaching.
  • Community Help: Motivating students and faculty to think about real-world problems and help society with their own contributions.
Activities
  • Subject Lectures: Guiding teachers to deliver their lectures as per schedule and finish the syllabus on time.
  • Daily Experiments: Encouraging students to spend time in the laboratory to test theories such as electricity, magnetism, and gravitation.
  • Webinars: Faculty members also provide useful information and links for students about scientific talks.
Science Events and Fests
  • Guest Lectures: We invite scientists, senior professors, and industry experts to arrange guest lectures for the students.
  • Exhibitions: We encourage young minds to build working models and present them in exhibitions.
  • Student Seminars: We support and encourage students to learn new technologies—such as quantum computing, machine learning, and artificial intelligence—and share their knowledge with fellow students.
